Residences at the Government Center
The Residences at the Government Center is planned as a LEED® for Homes certified 270-unit apartment home project on approximately nine acres in Fairfax County, Virginia. The project will be constructed as a four-story wood framed product surrounding a multi-level, above-grade parking garage and will begin construction in late 2011.
All units at the Residences at the Government Center will be leased out to households earning between 50% and 100% of the Area Median Income. The project is the first 100% Workforce Housing development to be built in Fairfax County since the adoption of the Workforce Housing policy in October 2007. The site is located on the Fairfax County Government Center campus, with the main entrance off Monument Drive, across from the Fairfax Corner mixed-use development.
